Description

‘It feels like heaven’

This artwork is made from several types of Dutch wool. The blue was achieved by dyeing with indigo (in my own studio). The piece is stretched onto a metal ring with a gold-coloured sheen.

This art piece was made using the wet felting technique. With olive oil soap, warm water and hands, the wool is felted in a traditional, handcrafted way.

The surface of the artwork has a lot of volume and texture, which improves the acoustics.
